Below are details of Emilio’s July wine dinner. Wouldn’t it be great to combine a luxurious stay at Berkeley House Bed and Breakfast with a fabulous wine dinner at Emilio’s? You can reserve your room at the bottom of this page.
Greetings Fellow Wine Lovers!
The hills are alive with the taste of vino this July at Emilio’s! We are taking you all the way to the Alps to experience the wines of Austria, Switzerland and the Alto-Adige of Italy. These three countries are nestled closely together and share one significant thing in common—besides the Alps, of course—great wine!
This wine dinner was inspired by a recent trip Denise Wright of Lewis Creek Market took to Austria with Brian Fairtile of Siema Wines. Their incredible trip confirmed that there are amazing wines coming out of this region and that an Alpine dinner at Emilio’s is a must! The 5 wine estates we have chosen to showcase at this dinner are all at the top of their game in their respective regions. There is so much we could tell you to introduce you to these wineries, but to keep it brief, we are bringing you family owned and operated vineyards, a wine estate that was founded in 1810, one of the best (if not the best)-run biodynamic organic wine estates in the world and wine from one of the most talented and accomplished enologists in Austria.
At Emilio’s we are always looking to bring you a new unique experience with food and wine, as we love the challenge of working with new wines, growing regions and especially creating the food pairings! We hope you will join us and share in the fun at our July wine dinner!
