The house is a lovely Queen Anne style house with a wrap around porch and a wrap around deck on the second floor with panoramic views of downtown Staunton. It is across the street from the Woodrow Wilson home and also right next to the Mary Baldwin campus. It is only a short walk from the American Shakespeare Center. In other words it could not be better located. However, it is on a quiet residential street, so there is not a lot of street noise to keep you up. Jeff and Bonnie have beautifully renovated the home and decorated the entire place. The room was well appointed and had a great bathroom. There were freshly made chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon when we arrived. The breakfast was fabulous, a Dutch baby pancake with bananas. They also had homemade blueberry muffins. We definitely be staying here again when we are down in Staunton.
